What is laughter yoga?
Firstly; you DO NOT need to know any yoga, there are no balancing acts or bendy poses. All you need is the ability to smile & laugh!!
It's not a comedy, it's an exercise programme! A unique concept where we initiate laughter through playfulness and fun, which quickly transforms into genuine laughter. We call it laughter yoga because it combines laughter with deep breathing, bringing more oxygen to the body & brain, which makes you feel more energetic & healthier.
Laughter yoga elevates your mood by releasing endorphins. This is a great base to help you stay cheerful throughout the day.
It also reduces stress, strengthens the immune system & as the saying goes - "Laughter is the best medicine" as it helps the body heal faster!
Laughter Yoga is also a great social connector. People who laugh together create a special bond - even if it's only for a short time.
Laughing is easy when everything is going well, but laughter yoga helps us through challenging and tough times, teaching people to laugh unconditionally providing strength in adversity to help you keep and boost a positive mental attitude.
